Hello and welcome to the Great Commission website. The Great Commission consists of a team of Christians referred to as, "the Commissioners". The vision of the team is in direct response to Gods' command in Mark 16:15; "And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation".

The objectives of the team are to: evangelise through the internet, social media and to promote the 'Fishers of Men' Brand/Logo. Resolve today to be a Commissioner for Christ, especially outside of your local Church - preach to all by word of mouth, your actions, through the internet, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Bebo, Myspace etc). Let the Fruits of the Spirit be seen in you in order to draw others to the kingdom of God. Live the life of Christ and make a difference in your life and the lives of others - family, work place, the community, your nation and the world.

If you haven't already, this website allows you to start a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ - The Time is Now to say the prayer and get started! Seek Ye First the kingdom of God and all other things will be added unto you! You can also re-dedicate your life to Jesus Christ.

Once you've said the prayer, the Christian Journey begins. It is essential you find a local church to attend and Fellowship with other believers. You need to Read the Bible – this helps you to meditate on the word of God and understand Him more. You need to Pray – this enables you to communicate with God. Communication being two ways, you speak to God and He speaks to you. It takes time to know when God is speaking to you, but it becomes clearer with time. The more time you spend with Him, the more you develop your ears and tune into His (spiritual) frequency.

You should gradually begin to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. You can test and check this against the Fruits of the Spirit, which you should begin to exhibit.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all the "Commissioners" who have given their time to contribute to this vision. I thank Tami, Mobola and especially Kasope, for putting all my thoughts and ideas into drawings/diagrams, all of which have been used on this website.

Please note that different bible translations have been used on this website, based on the fact that different "Commissioners" have contributed to the topics. Also, references to "Believers", "Born Again Christian(s)" and "Christian(s)" on this website, all have the same meaning.

Finally, brothers and sisters, "whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things" Those things which you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
